Terms of Service

1. Service Description

DoxByDux PDF provides professional document control and PDF manipulation tools. Our services include PDF viewing, editing, merging, splitting, scanning, and digital signature capabilities, along with document record management.

2. Subscription Plans

We offer the following subscription tiers:

  • Free: PDF viewing only, no storage
  • Standard: TSH 25,000/month - All tools, 5GB storage, 30-day retention
  • Premium: TSH 50,000/month - 20GB storage, 90-day retention, priority support
  • Corporate: TSH 120,000/month - Unlimited storage, 1-year retention, team features

3. Payment Terms

Subscriptions are billed monthly in advance. We accept payment via Stripe (international cards) and Mobile Money (M-Pesa, Airtel Money, Tigo Pesa). All prices are in Tanzanian Shillings (TSH).

Payment is non-refundable except as required by law or as stated in our Refund Policy.

4. Data Retention

Documents are automatically deleted based on your subscription tier:

  • Standard: 30 days after creation
  • Premium: 90 days after creation
  • Corporate: 1 year after creation

5. Acceptable Use

You agree to use DoxByDux PDF for lawful purposes only. Prohibited activities include:

  • Processing illegal or harmful content
  • Attempting to circumvent security measures
  • Excessive API usage or service abuse
  • Sharing account credentials

6. Account Termination

You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings. Upon cancellation:

  • You will retain access until the end of your billing period
  • Documents will be deleted according to retention policy
  • No refunds will be provided for unused time
  • Export your documents before cancellation

7. Limitation of Liability

DoxByDux PDF is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for any data loss, service interruptions, or indirect damages. Your sole remedy is to discontinue use of the service.

8. Changes to Terms

We may update these terms at any time. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms. We will notify users of material changes via email.
